On 23 November 2022, delegates from the fifteen National Commissions on Small Arms and Light Weapons from the ECOWAS Region visited UNREC premises led by the ECOWAS Commission. The latter signed a statement on behalf of the Commission and all 15 National Commissions thanking UNREC for its valuable support and calling for strengthened cooperation.
